Klaudia was the biggest party animal she knew. Every night was like a Saturday night for her, and back home she could always coerce a new person to go out with her every night of the week. However, in Melbourne, things were a bit different. Since she was new, it was harder to get friends to go out with her on the busy club nights, let alone any day of the week. Being the person she was, though, Klaudia wasn't just going to stay home and watch movies all night. No, she would show up alone to the clubs. She wasn't quite used to it, of course, but it did have its advantages - nobody to drag her around, the freedom of being able to flirt with who she wanted to without her friends being around, and no awkward conversations to her friends saying she wasn't going home with them that night. She hadn’t been to any of the clubs in Melbourne yet, so naturally, she wanted to go to the wildest one there was. It had been a long time since Klaud had been to a good party, so she had been anticipating going out for a while. Besides, it was a little more understandable to be at that kind of place alone. Wild clubs were best when there were no strings attached.

Her closet, filled with jeans, t-shirts and the occasional tank top, simply wasn't fitting for a place like Heat. She couldn't just walk in there wearing any old thing; no, she'd have to dig to find something suitable. In a matter of seconds, all of her boxes filled with clothing were strewn on the floor, with Klaudia frantically tossing shirts and shorts and everything else around until she found the perfect number. She must have had it packed away for ages - it was a Christmas present from her mother, given to her last year. Madeline always wished for Klaudia to be more girly, so she was forever buying her dressy clothes. The shirt, a black, satin tube top with a bow at the waist and flowing at the bottom, fit like a charm; it gave her a long-needed feminine look, and revealed the curves she'd always hidden. Klaudia pulled on a pair of skinny jeans and some flats, also from her mother, applied her makeup, and was out the door. She didn't like to stay home very much, if it wasn't obvious - and the mess that was now on her floor was that much more dreadful.

Klaudia parked her car in the parking lot outside, making sure to rush in so she didn't get cold from the chilly breeze outside. It was much nicer than she expected, but girls there had dressed similar to her - so she wasn't overdressed, thank God. A slight smile formed on her glossed lips, not even bothering to see if she knew anyone there before making her way over to the bar to get a double vodka & cranberry. She figured she might as well get used to going to places like this alone, at least for a little while.

Clubs were like some sort of twisted heaven for Noelle. She could be herself, and make lots of friends. She could flirt freely, and everyone wanted to be around her. At least, that's what it seemed like after she'd snorted a couple of lines and was out on the floor. When she was high, it was like everything was electrified; colors were brighter, sound was louder, and everything seemed just hazy enough to be really nice. It felt like everything was exciting, and she had to be the first to do it all.

She'd been in there for about an hour when she went up to the bar for the first time. Everything was racing-her heart, the room, everything. She needed to ditch the guy she was hanging with; more importantly, she was seriously thirsty and needed a drink fast. Almost crashing into the bar, she said, rather loudly "I need a Diet Coke!" Bursting into giggles, she sat at a stool and looked at the girl next to her. "Hi!" she said, excited.
