two ugly people [valerie&ryan] « Thread Started on Apr 22, 2008, 3:53am »
My feet clogged noisily against the stony pavement beneath me. I cursed silently at myself for wearing these ugly ass shoes, but didn't argue with myself any further. Isn't that sad, how I did that? I shook my head, chuckling quietly at the fact that I was, indeed, talking to myself. I pursed my lips, lifting my head up from my annoyingly large feet to look for a place to get some coffee. Caffeine deprived, I settled for the starbucks two blocks down. I licked my lips, and ran my hand through my currently black hair. I'd been thinking about it, and was considering changing my hair color to a darker brown, not that anyone would notice. I change my hair color so damn often no one even cares anymore. I moved my hands and stuffed them in my jeans, my pace slow and steady. When I reached the starbucks, i pulled open the door, listening to the chime with a slow smile. The barista behind the counter did a doubly take when I walked in. Was there something on my face. I reached up and subtly stroked my face swiftly, but they're was nothing there. Oh yeah, I'd almost forgotten that I was sexy. I winked, and walked over to the counter to order a latte. It came to me incredibly fast, and I handed over the tip and money easily. I turned around, leaning against the counter with one elbow, while watching people enter and exit the cafe with a curious stare.

Waking up was something Valerie couldn't very well master. The thought of having to go into the real world, just not her. Now, staying up all night, drinking, partying her ass off, then sleeping off the hang over the next day, now you're talking.
Valerie's head throbbed as she made her way downstairs, her eyes still drowsy as she slid on her sunglasses and began to walk out the door. "I'm going to get some cappuchino...." Valerie mumbled, pressing her lips together as she walked out the door. She slugged to her car, groaning as she hoped in and then sped off, half asleep the whole way there. Valerie was even surprised she could get herself dressed and look decent. Usually Valerie got as far as the living room before she would crash on the sofa the rest of the day.
Valerie gazed around before pulling in to Yummo. She had made a stop here once before, since she couldn't find a Star bucks. This was the closest thing they had, and Valerie would take advantage of it. She walked it, pushing her sunglasses up into her blond locks, and walking up to the counter. She ordered a cold latte` and pulled out her wallet, giving the cashier the money, and waiting patiently for it. Once she got it, her hands grasped the latte`, taking a sip before she ever left the counter. She gave a sigh of relief before turning around, almost jumping when she saw Ryan.
Ahh Ryan. He was one of her few close friends she made in Melbourne the past month that she was there. And within that month, they had some crazy times at parties. Val found herself physically attracted to Ryan from time to time, but he was not the person she would fall head over heals for.
Valerie tugged down her blue polo, and walked over to Ryan's side, a smile still on her face. "Hey Ry, how are you today?" Valerie questioned, her words slightly slurred since talking only made her throbbing head seem to want to explode more than it already was. Brushing a few hairs away from her blue gaze, she gazed over at Ryan, a smile still planted on her tired face.

I licked my lips, watching everyone pass me by, ordering there drinks. I closed my eyes for a moment, taking a deep breth, and enjoying the smell of the coffee around me. When I opened my eyes, I saw a familiar face. The perfect features of this girl were perfectly normal to me, so I wasn't shocked by them. I watched her curiously as she spun around, oblivious of me until the last moment. I chuckled lightly, leaning in and rapping lightly on her forehead with my pointer finger. The smirk on my lips grew more pronounced as I planned. Fantastic! How was last night? I yelled the words right into her face, knowing she had some extreme kind of hang over to deal with, and me being that bastard I am. I leaned out again, watching the people in the store shake there heads. Some pursed there lips, some just stared. But the ones I payed attention to where the ones who were snickering under there breath. The ones who really got what I was saying. Those, were my kind of people. I chuckled darkly once more, and turned around to see Val's reaction to all this. Most likely a slap on the shoulder, or worst case scenario a kick where it hurts. Hopefully it wouldn't have to come to that. She was used to me taunting her.
